CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
—a zine of incomplete and unattractive things—
Submit a maximum of 2-pages of inventories. An inventory is defined as “a list of items” (numbered, bulleted, etc.), though we’re specifically looking for inventories of your emotions, experiences, thoughts, beliefs, fears, parts of you that you feel are unsightly or generally unsharable, aspects of your life or our society that are ugly or ostracized, things that you see in the world that you want to be brought to light, etc. More than anything, we want the lists to be inventive and thought provoking.
We accept inventories in whatever forms they may take (bulleted/numbered lists, poems, prose, we’re open to the experimental). Inventories can be on any topic. They should be cohesive in theme.
We lend ourselves to the overemotional, but well crafted insightful, poetic, or even humorous/unconventional pieces are preferred. If you’re type A in organization and type B in emotional management, this zine is for you.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please inform us if your piece(s) have been accepted elsewhere.
All submissions must be previously unpublished. Rights revert back to the author after publication.
